Please read the following important information before proceding



Welcome to Moving Monkeys. An understanding of the following information will assist you with an understanding of how we operate.

You will be asked some personal information about both yourself and your child. This information is for insurance purposes, and enables our staff to be aware of and cater for your childs needs. All information provided is kept internally, and shared only with Gymnastics Victoria, and Gymnastics Australia for insurance and registration purposes. We do not sell personal information to third-parties.

Events & Holiday Programs

Classes

All classes are subject to a maximum number of participants. You are able to either secure your spot in a class by paying for the term at a discounted rate; or by paying online via the parent portal (https://portal.movingmonkeys.com.au) for the session from 48 hours prior.

We only reserve a spot for you in your first session, and you will be asked on the following pages which session you wish to attend. 

Membership Fee

This is a mandatory fee that includes registration and insurance with Gymnastics Australia. It applies to all students, regardless of being a casual or term member.

New students have free coverage for the first 28 calendar days so they can try out the program, but must pay this fee to continue past that point.

If you are paying for a term, the membership must be renewed if it expires part way through that term.

  • 12 Months (eg. 12-Apr-2020 to 11-Apr-2021) - $ 65 Individual, $ 110 Family
  • 6 Months (eg. 12-Apr-2020 to 12-Oct-2020) - $ 40

Casual Members

Must book in and pay online via the parent portal. This can be done from 48 hours before the class starts. Due to some classes reaching maximum numbers for safety reasons we now need to start turning people away who have not made a booking online via the portal.

Term Members

If you cannot attend your session, to be eligible for a make-up session you need to use the parent portal to take your child out of the session before it starts. This allows other members waiting for a make-up to take your spot in the class. Booking a make-up session is also managed via the parent portal.

Term Members - Make-Up Sessions

If you are unable to attend your regular session you can cancel out of it and attend a different session of the same level, provided that we know before the class starts. This is so that someone else who is waiting for a make-up session is able to take your spot. 

Make-up sessions:-

  • must be used in the same school term, they cannot be carried over into subsequent terms.
  • cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • are only available for a class of the same duration as the session missed.
  • are attached to the parent / guardian account, so a sibling can use a make-up session provided that the session is the same length.
  • If you do not notifiy us prior to the class that you cannot attend, then there will be no make-up session available. This is because the spot was held for you and no one else had the opportunity to take it.

We do not store credit card information, or process credit cards automatcally. It is your responsibility to ensure fees are up to date prior to attendence. Students will not be able to participate if fees are outstanding, we do not provide credit.
